I still remember the first time someone said to me, “Before I write something, I ask myself, ‘What would Jo write?’”. Outwardly, I laughed, but inwardly, I was filled with overwhelming joy, knowing that my writing style inspired another person to elevate this sacred craft. It remains the greatest compliment I could receive as a writer and fuels my passion for helping others unlock the words they seek.

For decades, I have designed narratives for others with the sole purpose of making people feel connected, services desired, and products coveted. I have also written over 100,000 unpublished words – and I think it might be time to release them into the wild!

My passion is emotional storytelling. I am an intuitive feeler with a deep understanding of the psychology of intent and happiness, which helps me create emotionally connective content. I specialize in genres ranging from memoirs and inspirational non-fiction to brand storytelling for companies with charitable or human-centered missions. I’m very good at tapping into the underlying humanity of a story and telling it in a way that makes people feel big things.
